Buccaneer Days

An annual event in Corpus Christi since the 1930s, Buccaneer Days offers a variety of entertainment. Rodeos, musical performances, dance contests, a BBQ cookoff, a carnival and parades are all part of this long-standing event. This year's Buc Days is now underway and will continue through May 8.

I read an article about Buc Days in Corpus Christi which I would like to know if it’s true. It was about the parade and a float of American soldier’s mothers who were badly treated by spectators who were very beligerant and flew the Mexican flag.
