Visiting Texas During Hurricane Season

Texas, like other Gulf Coast states, is prone to hurricanes and tropical storms. However, this does not mean you shouldn't plan a trip to the Lone Star State during hurricane season, which officially runs June through November. In fact, some of the best Texas vacation activities and events occur during this time. And, Texas has historically been less likely to get a storm than its Gulf Coast neighbors, including Florida. However, if you are planning a trip to the Texas coast during hurricane season, there are a few things you should be aware of.
