Wildlife Refuges in Texas
Monday August 25, 2008
Texas is a state of diverse natural resources. Luckily, Texas is also a state with a strong state park system and numerous federal lands as well. In fact, whether they prefer mountains, woods or sandy beaches, visitors to Texas have their choice of National Wildlife Refuges and Preserves on which to view nature. With school now back in session, most refuges have fewer visitors than the summer months, allowing the resident wildlife to be much more active and increasing your odds for seeing them.
