2008 Texas Rose Festival

Started in 1933, the Texas Rose Festival has become part of the fabric of life in Tyler. The Rose Parade is just part of the fun, that includes the Coronation Ball and the East Texas Symphony Orchestra’s “Concert in the Park.” Don’t forget to visit the Rose Museum while visiting the “Rose Capital of the Nation.” The 2008 event marks the 75th anniversary of the Texas Rose Festival, which has been themed "A Royal Tribute to the Rose."
