Located on the north end of the city of South Padre Island, La Quinta Beach Resort's location is both a 'pro' and a 'con' for vacationers. Due to it's remoteness, it is located further away from the entertainment district and most major area attractions than other island hotels. However, this same location offers guests to not have to listen to loud music or the din of traffic night and day, either. And, it allows for uncrowded beach conditions rarely found elsewhere on South Padre Island.

Of course, since the 'developed' portion of South Padre Island only entails about 5 miles, nothing is too far away. To that end, La Quinta guests are still just a short drive away from Schlitterbahn Beach Waterpark, historic Port Isabel, a variety of restaurants and nightclubs and much more.

Guests wishing to stick closer to the hotel will enjoy the onsite pool, which affords a great view of the gulf, spa and workout facility. There is also a number of conference rooms for business meetings and/or celebrations such as weddings, which is one of La Quinta Beach Resort's specialties.
