Located on the southern portion of South Padre Island, the Radisson Resort South Padre Island is easy to find and conveniently located near all of South Padre's top attractions. The "Rad" has excellent beach access and great onsite amenities such as swimming pools, hot tubs, tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, restaurant, club, workout facility and more.The Radisson's Windjammer Beachfront Cafe is one of the Island's best restaurants, offering good food and excellent views. The Windjammer is especially popular for its breakfast buffet. Hammerhead Deck, the Rad's nightclub, is one of the most popular spots for live entertainment.
The Radisson also has onsite watersport services such as parasailing and banana boat rides during the warm weather months. Additionally, beach chairs, boogie boards and other 'beach toys' are available for rent.
Eleven months a year (April through February), the Radisson Resort is an excellent family hotel. During March, it is overrun with Spring Breakers and hosts several Spring Break entertainment events on its beach.
