The banks of the San Antonio are lined with a number of fine restaurants, nightclubs, hotels and shops. The Rivercenter Mall is also a popular stop and La Villita Historic District, which is filled with shops and galleries, is just above the Riverwalk. The San Antonio Riverwalk is a city park. There is no admission to the Riverwalk itself, although some of the clubs charge admission and there is a fee for boat tours. The Riverwalk is bordered by St. Mary's Street to the west and Bowie Street to the east. However, the largest concentration of restaurants and shops (aside from the Rivercenter Mall) are located between Alamo Street and St. Mary's Street.
