Cascade Caverns Overview:
Located just outside San Antonio, Cascade Caverns offer visitors a look beneath the surface of the Texas Hill Country. The cavern stays 68 degrees year around - making it a perfect place to beat the summer heat - plus it features a 100 foot underground waterfall!
About Cascade Caverns:
Open to the public in various forms since 1932, Cascade Caverns is a natural cavern just outside Boerne in the Texas Hill County. In 1984, a Texas Historical Marker was dedicated to Cascade Caverns, one of Texas' top natural attractions. Today, the cavern is open for tours daily and also offers onsite campsites for tents, RVs and travel trailers. The campground offers a children's play area, indoor workout facility, nature trails, barbecue areas, recreation room and convenience store.
Cascade Caverns Visitor Information:
Summer hours are 9 a.m.-6 p.m. weekends, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays. Winter hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekends, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays. Admission is $11 for adults, $7 for children ages 5-11.
