Corpus Christi is known for its beautiful beaches and amazing attractions. Among those attractions are some of the most unique museums in Texas.

1. USS Lexington

Following many years of "active duty," the WWII-era USS Lexington "retired" to Corpus Christi. This massive aircraft carrier now serves as a floating museum, complete with a theater, flight simulator, cafe and more.

2. Selena Museum

Corpus Christi's Selena Museum, built by Selena's father, displays outfits and costumes worn by the late-pop superstar as well as other memorabilia from her life as a professional musician.

3. Art Museum of South Texas

Featuring more than 12,000 square feet of galleries, as well as classrooms, studios, work spaces and a library, the Art Museum of South Texas serves as the cultural hub of Corpus Christi.

4. Tejano Roots Hall of Fame

Located in nearby Alice, the Tejano R.O.O.T.S. Hall of Fame is dedicated to preserving the rich history of Tejano music - a Texas original.

5. Corpus Christi Museum of History and Science

The Corpus Christi Museum of History and Science has an impressive display of natural and cultural historical objects on display. In addition, the museum has a wonder marine artificact display. All of this is packaged together with a special emphasis on South Texas.
