Dallas is home to some of the best Irish pubs in Texas. A visit to one of these pubs will transport you to jolly old Ireland without ever leaving the Lone Star State.

1. The Old Monk

Consistenly voted as one of Dallas' top bars, the Old Monk is a traditional Irish pub serving up plenty of good food, fun and drinks. Located on historic Henderson Avenue, the Old Monk fits right in with the 'antique' surroundings.

2. Poor David's Pub

Poor David's Pub has a reputation for offering up some of the best live music in Dallas, all set in a traditional Irish pub.

3. Trinity Hall

A full-service Irish pub, Trinity Hall offers live music, a menu full of Irish dishes and, of course, plenty of brew. In fact, it's reputed to have Dallas' best beer selection.

4. Tipperary Inn

An extensive menu of Irish favorites, plenty of draft beer, and great live music have combined to make the Tipperary Inn one of Dallas' favorite spots to eat and hang out.

5. The Idle Rich Pub

Owned and operated by a trio of Dublin, Ireland natives, the Idle Rich Pub is a traditional Irish pub specializing in the beers and whiskeys of Northern Europe. The Idle Rich Pub also features a menu full of Irish favorites.
