For more than a decade, the Austin Film Festival has provided a venue for up-and-coming screenwriters and filmmakers to have their work brought into the public consciousness.
2. Texas Book Festival
Held at the State Capitol in Austin, the annual Texas Book Festival features over 200 authors, as well as exhibitors, live music, food, a children's area and more.
