Staged each year by the Southwest Celtic Music Association, the North Texas Irish Festival was first held in 1983. That first event was held at a local lounge, but the event has grown rapidly. Today, it is held at Fair Park in Dallas and is, in fact, the second-largest event held at Fair Park.
