About Fiesta San Antonio:

The seeds of Fiesta San Antonio were planted, so to speak, back in 1891 when the first Battle of the Flowers Parade was held. Today the Battle of the Flowers Parade is still held annually, but it is only one of the many events during Fiesta San Antonio, the festival that sprung up around the parade. Today Fiesta San Antonio stretches over 11 days, encompasses over 100 events and benefits 100 different non-profit organizations. Over 3 million people attend Fiesta San Antonio annually.

The 107 events associated with Fiesta San Antonio are held at different venues throughout San Antonio. Most of these venues are situated close to downtown, including the Alamo, Market Square, the Riverwalk and the AlamoDome.
