Sundance Square Parade of Lights Overview:
Held each year in downtown Fort Worth, the Sundance Square Parade of Lights features over 100 illuminated entries and climaxes with the lighting of the Fort Worth Holiday Tree.
About the Sundance Square Parade of Lights:
The Sundance Square Parade of Lights was first held in 1983 as a way to draw more visitors to downtown Ft Worth. Today, more than 200,000 people attend the parade over Thanksgiving Weekend to help kick off the holiday season. Visitors have the option of viewing the parade from one of the several free sections or buying reserved seats to ensure they have a good view.
Where the Sundance Square Parade of Lights is Held:
The Sundance Square Parade of Lights begins at Belknap and Taylor streets, continues down Belknap to Commerce, Commerce to 6th, 6th to Houston, and Houston to Weatherford - essentially circling downtown Ft Worth.
