Czhilispiel Overview:
Based in the Czech settlement of Flatonia, Czhilispiel has been held annually for over 30 years, drawing some of the best chili and bbq cook-off teams from across the state.
About Czhilispiel:
Always held the fourth full weekend of October, Czhilispiel is one of Texas' premier chili cook-offs. Czhilispiel always features a top shelf entertainment lineup as well. Other activities during the three-day Czhilispiel Festival include a BBQ cookoff, washer tournament, jalapeno eating contest, mechanical bull, 5K run and more.
Czhilispiel Information:
Friday and Sunday admission are free. Gate admission on Saturday between 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. is $7, after 4 p.m. is $12. Children under 12 are free.
