Located just outside of Richmond, southwest of Houston, the George Ranch Historical Park is a living history exhibit that aims to educate the public about Texas history situated on the site of a former working ranch.What to Do at the George Ranch Historical Park:
Visitors to the 23,000 acre George Ranch Historical Park are treated to a scene straight out of the past. Several 1800s-era buildings, homes and stock areas are situated on the property - all of which are utilized by the living history cast. Individual and group tours are available. The George Ranch Historical Park is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Park is closed New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Visitors are advised to budget 3 to 4 hours of time to fully tour the Park.
