Big Spring Overview:
Located on the northern edge of the Edwards' Plateau, Big Spring takes advantage of its unique natural setting with numerous parks, Moss Creek Lake and a large outdoor amphitheater.
Big Spring History:
Big Spring was founded in 1882. However, people had been visiting the area for centuries prior to that in order to draw water from the town's namesake - a huge natural spring. Big Spring was officially incoporated in 1907.
