Cotton Bowl Classic
January 2, 2009 will be the last Cotton Bowl Classic held at Cotton Bowl Stadium. After 73 years of hosting two of college football's top teams on an annual basis, the Cotton Bowl Classic bids farewell to its namesake stadium.

Big D Texas Marathon
This annual marathon starts and finishes at Dallas Fair Park - site of the Texas State Fair. The course winds through a variety of Dallas neighborhoods, as well as nearby White Rock Lake. A half-marathon and 5k are also held in conjunction with the Texas Marathon.
Cedar Crest Golf Course
One of Texas' oldest golf courses, Dallas' Cedar Crest Golf Course was the site of the 1927 PGA Championship. Today, it remains a popular course for Dallas area golfers.
