On Friday, as most folks are getting ready to eat leftover turkey, the University of Texas Longhorns and Texas A&M Aggies will square off in Austin for their annual post-Thanksgiving Day brawl. And, later that night, thousands of Texans afflicted with Friday night fever will file into stadiums across the state to witness round three of the state high school football playoffs.
Once Saturday dawns, the high school playoffs will resume and a number of Texas college football teams will be in action as well. On Monday, the Houston Texans will be hosting the the Jacksonville Jaguars at Reliant Stadium in a Monday Night Football tilt, giving Texas football fans a full 5 days of football over Thanksgiving Day weekend. Any way you slice it, football fans in Texas will have plenty to be thankful for over Thanksgiving weekend.
