Located next to Hermann Park near Houston's famed Medical District, the Houston Zoo has been giving Houston area residents and visitors close-up views of exotic wildlife since 1922. One of the newest - and most popular - exhibits is the 6.5-acre African Forest. The Houston Zoo also features a water playground, set as a Galveston fishing village, inside the John P.
