Aside from the river, Garner State Park offers hiking, birding and nature watching. The majority of visitors to Garner State Park stay overnight, either in rental cabins or in tent camping sites.
Garner State Park Visitor Information:
Garner State Park is located on Park Road 29, 8 miles north of Concan. The park is open 7 days a week, although during the busy season it often reaches maximum capacity and has to close early. In those instances, the park will reopen as soon as the capacity falls below the maximum limit - even if it is within the same day.
